Virtium provides many resources to both engineers and developers. The DRAM Memory Power and Flash Memory power calculators are an engineering tool provided as a courtesy by Virtium Technology. Its intended purpose is to provide numerical approximation of the power consumption and amperage needed to energize and refresh standard DIMM memory modules as well as Industrial Compact Flash (CF) solutions. In order to obtain the numerical values you will need to enter values of basic electrical parameters for the module as well as the intended percentage of usage. The DRAM Design Support is effective at evaluating modules such as Low Profile DIMM’s, VLP RDIMM’s and SORDIMM’s. The flash memory calculator is useful for evaluating modules such as eUSB,  1.8″ & 2.5″ SSD, mSATA, SlimSATA, SD Cards, CF, and CFast.
