SDRAM – Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory
SDRAM became a JEDEC standard in 1993, and became the dominant memory generation by the year 2000. SDRAM was targeted at the 66 MHz and 100 MHz bus speeds available on PC motherboards at the time and was a successor technology to EDO DRAM.
Virtium supports a range of options in 168 pin DIMM and 144 pin SODIMM, including:
- ECC and non-ECC versions
- Unbuffered and Registered modules
- Available in capacities ranging from 64 MB to 1GB
- Form Factors Include: DIMM, SODIMM, ECC SODIMM, VLP, SODIMM, UDIMM and MiniDIMM
Virtium’s support of high-quality and high-reliability legacy products highlights our commitment to providing the industry’s longest product cycles to back our customers’ extended product deployments. Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (SDRAM) is the predecessor to Disk on Module (DOM) hi speed solid state hard discs and Virtium supplies excellent support of legacy systems with a wide range of replacement and upgrade options.
