The Virtium TuffDrive mSATA VMS (MO-300) product family is an industrial temperature -40° to +85° SLC Nand Flash solution in the JEDEC MO-300 form factor which features the SATA II interface. It was developed to match OEM requirements for long-term product and reliable supplier support, and Virtium is committed to B.O.M. control over the life of a customer’s application. The TuffDrive industrial mSATA VMS100 product family is available in a broad range of densities and 4GB to 32GB and features speeds up to 110MB/s read and 70 MB/s write. The added support of Virtium’s Dedicated FAE and enhanced firmware/hardware circuits to overcome complicated SATA host compatibility or OS issues.

Other standard features of the VMS Series include Enhanced Power cycling, S.M.A.R.T. Command Support, wear leveling, Data corruption endurance as well as consistent supply and advanced product change notification (PCN) for enhanced performance in rugged applications. We also work closely with customers for extended product life cycle management. By assisting OEMs in selecting the right controller and Flash components that match your budget, Virtium can also ensure that our products will be available over your intended application life cycle — your original BOM and configuration will be locked for the duration. In the event of product mix changes, Virtium’s proactive part change notification process notifies you six months to a year ahead of time. Our commitment to you is to work with you to secure enough inventory and start new qualification for an equivalent replacement.
