Very Low Profile (VLP) Memory Modules
Virtium is a leading developer of Very Low Profile (VLP) memory modules for space-constrained applications. Virtium’s 0.72 inch modules in the VLP form factor and 0.70 inch profile modules in Ultra Low Profile (ULP) form factor meet the demand for increased airflow in tight spaces. Both Mini-DIMM and VLP SODIMM modules are available in VLP form factors that support a variety of advanced DDR2 and DDR3 generation features.
In addition to delivering industry-leading features and configurations in VLP modules, Virtium offers a wide range of testing services to support enhanced system performance. Services include mechanical ruggedization such as conformal coatings and underfill. Virtium also supports enhanced design margin requirements through temperature screening, component upgrades, and over-clock testing to assure accurate timing margins in customer designs as well as ECC support.
