Rugged Memory Modules
Virtium offers a variety of enhanced ruggedization options in addition to our high reliability processes for our standard industrial memory modules. These module options help OEMs meet their additional requirements for further protection against vibration, temperature extremes, or other harsh environmental conditions.
Virtium’s underfill options allow for increased shock resistance. Our conformal coatings qualified under MIL-I-46058C provide for protection of the module from environmental degradation. In addition to mechanical enhancement, Virtium can deliver a wide variety of electrical upgrades including temperature screening, extended temperature burn-in, and the addition of thermal sensors to monitor module temperature conditions. Virtium’s RSDIMM, ECC SODIMM, SORDIMM in both standard and VLP (Very Low Profile memory) heights are among the most common modules in use today for ruggedized industrial memory applications.
