StorFly® Industrial CFast
Virtium’s StorFly® CFast SSDs match the storage requirements of industrial automation, networking and medical applications that demand high performance in a small, framed form factor. An industry standard backed by the CompactFlash Association, CFast is the most straightforward solution for next-generation systems that had previously used CompactFlash cards. Similar to CompactFlash or SD cards, CFast SSDs can be either fixed or removable devices, but unlike moving to SD, most ATA-based software can be directly leveraged into new SATA CFast designs. StorFly® CFast products are available in four product classes based on capacity, endurance and operating temperature requirements:
- StorFly® CFast PE is based on SLC NAND flash
- StorFly® CFast XE is higher endurance MLC
- StorFly® CFast RE is industrial MLC
- StorFly® CFast CE is commercial MLC
StorFly® CFast CE standard operating temperature is 0° to 70°C. StorFly® CFast RE standard operating temperature is -40° to 85°C. StorFly® CFast XE and PE have options for either commercial or industrial temperatures.
StorFly® CFast SSDs are available in 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128GB capacities, meet MIL-810 standards for shock and vibration, are fully BOM controlled, and are backed by Virtium’s five year warranty.
