When we started the company in 1997, we wanted the company’s name to reflect our commitment for how we planned to conduct business. We found the perfect word in “virtus”, Latin for “virtue”.  The ancient Romans used this word to describe someone who possessed the qualities of valor, honesty, excellence, courage, character and worth. It was also generally used to describe a good person, someone who always did the right thing, without fail, regardless of the consequences.
 
Making sure that virtue was not just a goal to aspire to, but something we put into practice every day, we clearly defined a set of key principles and values that set the Virtium culture apart.  We uphold these essential virtues in every business transaction and every relationship we develop.
