Virtium’s facilities are certified to the latest ISO9001:2008 and AS9100 Rev C industry standards.  In addition, our facilities are continually improved and certified by annual or semi-annual audits conducted by authorized entities of these worldwide standards organizations.

Virtium manages its processes to a stringent set of quality metrics, which is supported by a fully automated data collection system. This system enhances our ability to identify anomalies and trends within our manufacturing and testing processes, and also within our quality management system itself, to assure the highest quality and reliability parameters.  The quality metrics that Virtium constantly measures includes the following:

Virtium’s quality capabilities are also supported by the following practices:

  • Exceptional quick-turn support on failure analysis and corrective action
  • Regular customer on-site visits to enable an effective collaborative review process that fosters continuous enhancements to our overall quality performance 
  • Comprehensive pre-design simulation, thermal analysis, system design timing analysis with the use of Cadence and SiSoft tool sets
  • Collaboration with customers to define the test parameters, test equipment and testing time needed for all extended temperature screening ranges.   Once a joint definition is established after validation, 100% of the product produced at Virtium will be tested according to this defined plan
  • Extended temperature products are production tested using our customers’ motherboard, or an approved motherboard that has an identical chipset and setup, and the test is performed with a memory diagnostic program at true speeds
