We understand the critical need to have multiple sources for supply chain flexibility, so we work with industry standards organizations such as JEDEC, SFF-SIG, and many others to improve and develop industry standards, providing OEMs with the most up-to-date technology to match design and application requirements.
Product Planning
The two critical factors in selecting products for future designs are cost and long term availability. Through a collaborative process, Virtium helps its customers find multiple solutions to address their design needs. Our goal is to enable informative decision making and to help find the best product. Virtium accomplishes this by generating a cost and materials analysis for each product’s life cycle in terms of long-term cost control and assured material support. Virtium can also provide additional benefits by conducting joint monthly reviews of pricing and product roadmaps that include the latest memory module and flash storage product lines.
Virtium also helps OEMs determine the right mix of components for current and future application requirements. Along with our long-standing knowledge of product trends, Virtium provides product lifecycle management that includes:
